She and Me became “We” 41 years ago today. We met at Bob Evans restaurant in Columbus, Ohio (yes we are Buckeye fans, sorry Wolverines). She was a waitress and “Me” was a grill cook. There were a few years apart… University of Cincinnati (She) and US Air Force (Me). A long-distance relationship with lots of letter-writing culminated in an accepted proposal on the steps of Sacre Coeur in Paris, France.
Jenny, thank you for saying “yes” and being the amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend that you are!
It continues to be an incredible journey of love, fun, faith, adventure, and commitment. 41 years later we have added 3 children married to phenomenal spouses and 7.3 grandchildren (Lanie was away at college when this photo was taken) …
