So Long, Phoenix

Our two winter months in Phoenix have come to an end. We are looking forward to our return to Florida and our children & grandchildren via I-40, Route 66, I-20 & I-10. “Standin’ on the corner in Winslow, Arizona”, The Petrified Forest, Albuquerque, Amarillo, Oklahoma City, Texas, Mississippi, and Pensacola. But, we will miss Me’s amazing nonagenarian mom in Sun City. We will miss Me’s brother and wife, Keith & Betsy in Glendale. We have missed seeing some Arizona friends and family due to COVID-19, but we are thankful that Arizona provided our coronavirus vaccinations. We will miss our new friendly and generous neighbors at the easy-living Sunflower RV Resort. We will miss the cool nights and ideal daytime temperatures. We will miss the clear blue skies and dramatic sunsets. We will miss the American West. It still has that frontier, wide-open, untamed, adventurous feel. We will miss living in the desert and the proximity to the mountains, the canyons, the Pacific, the ghost towns, the saguaro, the Mesquite, and the Palo Verde. How long until we return? Too long. So long. Thank you!

Safe travels Kent & Jenny! We may come to visit you Floridians in October again, especially if there’s another jewelry show again in Miami.
