Jackson Hole refers to the entire valley containing Teton County, Wyoming and Teton County, Idaho. It is incredibly beautiful and contains the mountain city of Jackson, Wyoming where we camped. Jackson is famous for its Jackson Square and the iconic Elk-Antler Arches at all four corners. Elk shed their majestic antlers every year so don’t fret, no animals were harmed in the making of these arches 🙂
Jackson is the epitome of what one would imagine a western mountain town would look like including its own ski mountain, shopping, wonderful restaurants, live music, loud gunfight reenactments, and lots of tourists.
One popular food spot is the D.O.G. (Down On Glenwood St.). “Home of the Famous Breakfast Burrito”. Order it by stipulating “Meat” or “Veggie” and “Mild” or “Spicy”. Expect to wait in line, but I can attest it’s worth the wait.
Looks like a fun place! Tetons more beautiful than Yellowstone?
